The NEW THEME is "School". It is that time of year again where kids are heading back to school. What are you going to create that fits the theme of school. Will you do a picture on a school bus? Will it be smoking in the boys room or will it be something like to hot for teacher. There are so many things you could do including putting someone in the locker!!!
Remember you can only shoot your images for this thread from Friday August 17th until Tuesday August 21st.
*********CHANGE TO DATES FOR SUBMISSIONS******* I will be closing the weekend theme submissions at Midnight on Wed from here on out to allow me more time to make the videos. This way I can make it earlier in the day and not have to stay up until 2am to get the video posted.
So I am from Malaysia we got a week of holiday. That means no school for us for a week. I was thinking of what to do to pass the time so I decided to do this.

These two shots were done with the same camera, same settings. -Nikon D5100, 18-55mm lens and a on camera flash (I don't have external flashes) -f/5.6 -1/80 sec -ISO 200 -55mm
When I went to school as a pupil (not as a teacher) I spent many nights sitting around like this.
I choose to focus me. So the book for mathmatics (the book is in german) and the lights in the background are out of focus.
The question marks where made with a simple trick. I cut a little piece of paper so it fits in the lens. I also cut a question mark on the paper out and put it on the lens. So every little light which is out of focus become a question mark. I thought that it fits the theme of this weekend.
The picture was not edited (no cuts or something like that). I just got a small room to prepare for that picture. Otherwise I had placed the book a little bit more far away from the Camera. Maybe next time or when I got a 1.4 lens.
School! Two weeks left until Cyber school for my kids, but we're ready for it! Anna loves math, and I love her chalkboard. So the idea of using it+flour to represent how messy chalk can be, popped into my head this morning.
