I'm very new to DSLR photography - only a week since I took the plunge. Here is a photo of Colchester Castle in England where I live.
It's the oldest recorded city in England and was an important town during the Roman occupation of England 2000 years ago. It's still a very military town now home to the British Army Parachute Regiments. This castle was actually built 1000 years go using bricks from the original Roman city.
Anyway, thought it might just about qualify for 'city'
